Enovert Community Trust funding

Bristol educational charity and science centre, We The Curious, has been awarded two grants totaling £100,000 from the Enovert Community Trust (ECT), to revitalise Millennium Square.

Reopening update Feb23

Bristol educational charity and science centre We The Curious has today, Thursday 23rd February 2023, offered the first look inside the building since the devastating fire almost a year ago, setting out details of the multi-million-pound repair programme underway and giving an update on reopening.

This Can Change photography exhibition

Educational charity and science centre, We The Curious is launching a new photography exhibition ‘This Can Change’; opening on Wednesday 8 December it will feature 130 images submitted by the young people of Bristol in response to the climate crisis. This exhibition is generously supported by LifewithArt.

Science Centres For Our Future

We The Curious, along with over 40 members of the UK Association for Science and Discovery Centres (ASDC), has today joined the Science Centres For Our Future campaign, which is calling on the government to set up an Emergency Resilience Fund to support the UK’s world-class network of regional Science Centres.

Funding from Garfield Weston Foundation

Bristol educational charity and science centre, We The Curious, has received a £440,000 grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation, to support the science centre’s reopening programme of activities, develop an online educational offer for schools and continue to develop their inclusion programmes.

We The Curious reopening with Project What If

After 14 months of closure during the pandemic, educational charity We The Curious will be reopening on Saturday 22 May 2021 with a bold new experience Project What If, which aims to leave people with questions rather than answers.

Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage

Educational charity We The Curious, has received a £173,400 grant from the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage through The National Lottery Heritage Fund, part of the Government's £1.57bn support package to support the culture sector.

John James Theatre of Curiosity

Educational charity We The Curious reopening (2021) with a bold new experience Project What If, which will feature the ‘John James Theatre of Curiosity’ – a central discussion space which encourages visitors to explore how science works.
