All day tickets allow you to explore our two floors of exhibits and take part in our daily activities. If you’d like to visit our Planetarium, you can add tickets before you check out.

We The Curious is an educational charity. We rely on income from ticket sales and fundraising to keep our doors open and continue our work as a charity

Weekends and school holidays are popular times to visit and often book up far in advance. Please book ahead to avoid disappointment. Even as a member!

If our standard prices are simply out of reach at the moment, you can also opt for our open concession ticket with no questions asked.

Personal assistants

If somebody in your party requires a carer, personal assistant, support worker, or if you are entering as a foster parent, then you can book a personal assistant ticket.

These are free and can be added onto any booking that contains an open concession ticket. This applies to both day tickets and the Planetarium.

The UK's only public 3D planetarium

Add a Planetarium show

Enjoy the UK's only 3D planetarium by adding a show to your visit for just £4 per ticket (£3 open concession). Members benefit from half price planetarium tickets.

Planetarium tickets are only available as an add-on to day tickets, so please add them to your cart when you are booking online. 

Sometimes there are a limited number of planetarium tickets still available on the day, so do ask the front desk if you forgot to book online.

Visiting with kids?

Under 2s go for free, but you will still need to book a seat for them. Children under 6 can only enjoy the 2D shows due to eye health restrictions on 3D shows.

 

Late entry tickets

If you visit towards the end of the day (after 3pm), you’ll notice that your ticket is cheaper as you’ll have less time to spend exploring.

If you would normally qualify for a concession, or if our standard prices are out of reach at the moment, you can opt for our open concession ticket with no questions asked. 

Yes of course. To book, please contact our team. Please bear in mind that it may take us a few days to get back to you.

No, your tickets will be emailed out to you. When you arrive, you’ll need to scan your phone to allow entry. You can also leave and re-enter using the same scanners if you need to pop out.

If you don’t have a smart phone, please make a note of your order number and our Visitor Experience team will be able to help you.

Please think of the environment and don't print out your tickets.

As a charity, we don’t offer refunds. By purchasing a ticket, you’re supporting our charitable projects, as well as the running of our venue.

If you discover you've made an error with your booking, or you are unable to make it due to illness, please get in touch and we will do our best to move you to a different session (provided it isn't fully booked).

We need a minimum notice period of 72 hours to process this.

If we are unable to re-book your visit or you have contacted us within the 72 hour notice period we may not be able to move your booking as per our booking T&Cs
