Presenting our brand new show: The Space Between!

How about a trip to the stars on your Thursday night? Planetarium Nights are back! 

If you're looking for a star show with some in depth science involved, this one's for you. 

Sit back and enjoy our inspiring presenters deliver an introduction to the science of gravitational waves, dark matter, and dark energy. Gaze into the space between the stars and watch the story of the universe unfold, from its extraordinary beginning to its cataclysmic end, and beyond! 

What to expect: 
  • How did the universe begin? Uncover the secrets hidden in the light from early galaxies and the afterglow of the Big Bang.
  • What is dark matter? Explore the invisible scaffolding of the universe that lies in the space between.
  • How will the universe end? Gaze into the distant future, witness potential scenarios for the end of everything, and glimpse what might lie beyond.

If somebody in your party requires a personal assistant or if you are entering as a foster parent, then you can book a free personal assistant ticket for admission and for the Planetarium.

The best way to do this is by contacting our bookings team in advance so we can guarantee availability, but you can also chat to the team on the front desk on arrival. These tickets are not available online. More information can be found on our ticket information page.

Wheelchair spaces are available in the Planetarium and need to be booked as your ticket. Please contact our bookings team if you are unable to find a show with wheelchair space available.

/Shows are 1 hour long.

/Entry can be found at the doors behind the giant silver ball.

/Pre-show drinks will be available from the bar in the space gallery beforehand.

/Doors and bar open 30mins before the start of the show.

/Please arrive at least 15mins before your show starts.

/Recommended 16+. 12-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
