The Dark Side of the Moon returns to Bristol's Planetarium!

Celebrate over 50 years of Pink Floyd’s legendary album The Dark Side of the Moon with a new awe-inspiring audio-visual show. 

Set to the newly remastered audio by James Guthrie and Joel Plante of das boot recording, the sound is richer, deeper, and more powerful than ever. The breath-taking 360° visuals, produced by the award-winning team at NSC Creative in collaboration with Pink Floyd’s iconic creative director Aubrey Powell, bring the music to life in spectacular style.

Each song has a different theme; some futuristically looking forward and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history, all relating to a time and space experience, embracing technology that only a Planetarium can offer.

So, join us for a truly immersive cosmic celebration of one of the greatest albums of all time, now showing at the Planetarium.

/ The Planetarium is a dark environment with a stepped walkway to access seats.

/ Planetarium shows can feature loud noises and flashing lights.

/ Flashing lights

/ Visitors with epilepsy and photosensitivity may suffer a seizure if exposed to flashing or strobe lighting

/ Intermittent flashing images, and visuals that may induce a sensation of movement in some viewers. 

/If somebody in your party requires a personal assistant or if you are entering as a foster parent, then you can book a free personal assistant ticket for admission and for the Planetarium.

/The best way to do this is by contacting our bookings team in advance so we can guarantee availability, but you can also chat to the team on the front desk on arrival. These tickets are not available online. More information can be found on our ticket information page.

Ticket information

/ Doors open 20 minutes before start time. 

/ There will be a bar.

/ Tickets are checked at the entrance on Millennium Square next to the Planetarium.

/ You can explore the Space Gallery before being invited to enter the Planetarium. 

/ Please aim to arrive at least 10 mins before your show. Late entry will not be permitted.
