Video: The Batteries of Orchards | Live from the Hive

Live from the Hive is an initiative from At-Bristol, BeeBristol and University of Bristol that aims to engage people with the lives of honeybees through innovative use of technology and social media.

From 28 May 2016, visitors to At-Bristol will be able to take part in a new exhibit in an indoor greenhouse in the Food! exhibition to compare the behaviour of the two bee colonies (one on the roof of At-Bristol!) in real time. It includes live webcam images of the bees, interactive graphs using live data including ‘bees per minute’, air quality, weather and wind, and also the latest tweets from the both of the beehives. Live from the Hive dashboard is also accessible online.
