Free Auditorium / Planetarium seating

Friday 19 January | Adam Richardson

We’re working to make our spaces more inclusive and suitable for all of our visitors, leading up to the reopening. So, following on from visitor feedback, we’re upgrading the seating in our Planetarium. They’ll be a bit roomier than before, to make sure that they can accommodate a wider range of needs.

So, we’ve got 92 seats up for grabs!

As part of our commitment to a sustainable future, we’d love to see them be reused and go to a good home. They’re in great condition, with a standard width that are commonly found in auditoriums and lecture theatres (having a round room does make for a bit of a squash and a squeeze for us) so would be suitable for those spaces, as well as cinemas or Planetariums.

The seats are in very good condition having been installed 5 years ago and have only been in use for half of that period due to venue closures.

If you’re interested in giving these seats a new home, please email information@wethecurious.org. We will deal with any requests first come, first serve although we’ll also factor in the number of seats required and your timeframe.

You’ll need to arrange organising collection and installation.

The deadline for enquiries is the 5 Feb 2024.
