The Tinkering Space: What will you make of it?

Brand new for summer, The Tinkering Space is a creative environment which will inspire the inner inventor in us all.
You'll be able to design, make and modify your own creations and even the space itself!
The permanent exhibition, opened on 23 July, includes a ‘Baxter’ robot (the first in a UK science centre), two 3D printers, shadow theatres, make-your-own ball runs, and more!
Open all day, everyday with extra guided activities with our Live Science Team for visitors and school groups.
