Future Picnic Workshops

What does tomorrow taste like?  What would you take on a picnic of the future?

We're imagining what a picnic might look like in the future. What types of food will we eat and how will we source our food?

Come down to Millennium Square and design your own future picnic and explore a range of potential future foods including: 

• Insects
• Algae
• Seaweed
• Edible packaging
• Sustainable Agriculture

And if you are feeling brave maybe even try an insect or some seaweed!

Drop in anytime between 11am-4pm. Open to all ages. The live science team will be around to facilitate and support you explore the future picnic.
